Netherland – Portugal: The Battle of Nürnberg (Die Schlacht von Nürnberg)

I haven't seen such a crazy Match for a long time. This even beats the Match USA – Italy. The emotions were coming through and the Match has lost all beaty. I am happy, that there weren't 30 Minutes extra time, because the result would have been even more cards. I am really disappointed.

Again disappointed about England, too. I don't know how they have reached the quarters. And they can really be happy, if you can be anyhow happy about that, that Portugal has been weakend that much in the Match against the Netherlands. Now they really have a chance to reach the semi finals. And that's not fair. England is really becoming more and more like Germany was before: They play horrible, but they win and the teams they are playing against are no Top-Teams. But as far as I can see it they will have to play again Brasil in the Semi-Finals, if they really reach them. And this will be their end-station.

I am really excited about Germany. Not just because I am a German. But because their are playing really great. They never stop fighting, even if they have 2 goals on their side. Klose is working 90 Minutes, Podolski has found the Goal. Ballack and Frings are playing better and better together, have german artillery, and Schneider of course. Also the defense, even if it is still the weakest part of the team. After Argentinia's Match against Mexico I am sure, that Germany has the chance to beat them, if they will play as aggressive as before and a little bit more concentrated then in some moments against sweden. The Semi-Finals are reachable. If the DFB will kick Klinsmann after this World Cup they will get kicked in their ….
